NSW:Teen missing after woman found dead
SYDNEY, April 21 AAP - A teenager is missing after a woman was found dead on the NSW
far north coast.
The body of the 48-year-old woman was discovered by a friend inside a home in Suffolk
Park on Wednesday morning.
She had suffered multiple injuries and police are treating her death as suspicious.
They now hold fears for the safety of 17-year-old David Carter, who was living at the
home and hasn't been seen since the woman's body was found.
He suffers from a medical condition and may not have taken his medication in recent
days, police said.
A Holden Commodore police believe David was travelling in was discovered in the Port
Macquarie area on Wednesday evening.
The teenager is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175-180cm tall with
an obese build, blue eyes and brown hair.
It's not known what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.
Anyone who sees David or knows his whereabouts is asked not to approach him but to
contact police immediately via triple zero.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out to determine the cause of the woman's death.
