Bushfires WA Grinder (PERTH)

WA police have spoken to a man believed to be a police officer .. who's under investigation
for using an angle grinder that sparked a fire that destroyed more than 60 homes in the
Perth Hills.

They say no charges have been laid at this stage.

A total fire ban was in place on Sunday when authorities say sparks from the grinder
started a blaze that quickly spread in the bush-fringed suburbs of Roleystone and Kelmscott.
