Vic: Offenders flee with cash

MELBOURNE, Dec 25 AAP - Robbers made off with money during an armed hold-up at an inner
city video store this evening.

A man wearing a balaclava and armed with a knife entered the Movieland store on Nicholson
St at Carlton about 9pm.

Police said the man threatened the attendant, demanding money then fled with a quantity of cash.

He jumped in a waiting Toyota sedan carrying a second person.

Detectives from Carlton criminal investigation branch are investigating.

No-one was hurt in the hold-up.
