SA: SA sporting fraternity mourns loss of David Hookes

ADELAIDE, Jan 21 AAP - South Australia's sporting fraternity today mourned the loss
of David Hookes in memorial notices for the former Test cricketer.

Cricket Australia, the Australian Football League (AFL) and the SA Soccer Federation
were among sporting bodies to express their grief at Hookes' death in memorial notices
in the Adelaide Advertiser today.

Cricket Australia offered its condolences to Hookes' family, describing his death as
"tragic" and saying the former SA captain, Test player and Victorian coach was "an exciting
